What are standard shower tray sizes?
Shower trays come in a wide range of sizes, which means there’s no standard size. Our collection of shower trays are most popular in widths of 800-900mm and lengths of 1000-1400mm. Our range covers all typical size requirements, available in widths of 700-1000mm and lengths of 800-1800mm.
Is a 700mm shower tray wide enough?
Yes, however this does depend on your available space. 700mm is typically the minimum width shower trays are available in, with our range spanning widths of 700-1000mm.
What sizes do rectangular shower trays come in?
Rectangular shower trays are available in most combinations of lengths 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, 1700mm and 1800mm, and widths 700mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1000mm.
What is the minimum shower tray size for a walk-in shower?
Walk-in shower trays should be on the larger size – particularly the tray’s length – to ensure that water stays within the shower area. We’d recommend a minimum shower tray length of 1200mm for walk-in showers. The tray width can feasibly be as small as 700mm.
